I am only learning about Jhan’s untimely death today via an accidental Google search. The news is shocking and very sad and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Although I never met Jhan personally his lectures published on the JFJ website, especially those on Isaiah, have deeply impacted my life. I began listening to his Isaiah series in March of 2009 and have since listened to all 60 something lectures from beginning to end three times while referring to individual hours when needed. I’ve learned a tremendous amount about the OT through his work. Jhan was the inspiration of an entire OT based Sunday school class named the Remnant.
Jhan touched more people than you’ll ever know but I just wanted to let you know about one all the way down in Florida. Rest in peace, brother!
I just found out about Jhan’s passing today. I’m saddened at the loss of one so full of life. Though I hadn’t seen Jhan in years, I always hoped to see him again some time. Now that time must wait until the resurrection. My thoughts and prayers are with Melissa and her family.
My heart is broken to hear of Jhan’s passing. I wish I had known in time to attend his Chicago memorial. I am a Gentile Christian who used to take the train every Friday from the burbs to Chicago to attend Jhan’s bible study at 19 S LaSalle. I met a man handing out tracts on Randolph street as I was walking to my first study. That man was Jhan. I attended his studies and several Passover celebrations at the Holiday Inn in Skokie until he moved to New York. Jhan taught me so much about Jewish history and gave me an understanding of scripture I know I never would have gotten from anyone else. Jhan helped me become a more deliberate follower of Yshua and I will always feel blessed to have crossed his path in this life. i look forward to seeing him again in eternity.
Jhan/Moishe/Jhan/Moishe—-I began supporting JFJ in 1979 after a presentation at my church, Ridgecrest United Methodist, in Okla.City. Throughout the years and through many church changes I have watched and read as both of these pillars of JFJ have grown in their faith and testimonies. There is a faint rememberance that I may even have met Jhan at a presentation in Oklahaoma at one time.
As a widow myself I understand the many feeling Melissa is experiencing. Shock and sadness at a sudden loss are tempered with the joy of knowing your mate is seeing the Father face to face! It only serves to make our own homegoing that much sweeter.
This life is not easy but Father is ever faithful. The Word grows sweeter with each day.
Blessings and Peace on the Moskowtz family as you look to the Author and finisher of your faith.
I’ve watched brother Moskowitz here in San Jose on the Ask God program and have been so blessed by his insights on the scriptures as a Messianic Jew. I know that his life will continue to impact people even when he has gone home to be with our Lord. I pray for his wife and children that the Lord may comfort them in this time.

A modern day Apostle of Christ who is now being richly rewarded for his labors! May God Bless the Moskowitz family.
